KYLE BRYCE

"Space, time,  circumstances and society shape each of us. Today, with technology ruling and shaping our days more than ever,  it is more and more difficult to connect to a person with a human touch.  I believe this is why art is more important than ever;  it touches lives.  Handmade art equates to a human touch.

Everyone always asks: "What do you do?"  If you look into my art space it may appear that  several artists share the space. Yet, I created it all with the exception of the beaded jewelry and crocheted items - those are my sister's creations.  My art mirrors many of my own intimate encounters.  It's my sense that artists love to immerse themselves into the inner life of a subject and then express what they have experienced.  When I come across a photo, image or idea that I want to share, my heart starts beating quicker, the same sensation a fisherman gets when he reels in a sailfish. Known for my love of color, ideas and enthusiasm, transforming nothing into something satisfies like nothing else. A mound of clay into a figure, watercolors or oils transforming a blank canvas into something that will touch someone's life or  save a  moment in time.

I've always been interested and worked in in every aspect  of the arts Painting, Pottery, Sculpture  Photography, Fashion, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Advertising."

Kyle Bryce recently fulfilled her dream to join the Arts Community and  moved from New York to Florida where she is thrilled to be a part of the Fish House Art Center at her Sailfish Run Studio. She is currently studying under the teaching of Charles Gruppe. Bryce worked in Napa Valley designing wine labels; commissioned by GE to design graphic exhibits; has worked with Rolling Stones artist Victor Juhasz on design; created award winning designs for one of the the oldest 5k races in the U.S.  Possibly Kyle Bryce's greatest creation was establishing a foundation for seriously ill children in honor of her son Andrew (www.lethopelive.org).  Kyle has done missionary work in Indiia and Mexico and has traveled around the world and U.S.
