Born and raised in the Midwest, Carolyn Gordon retired from the business world in 1998 and moved to the Treasure Coast of Florida to pursue her watercolor painting jewelry design full time.

Her interest in art started early in life from art classes in grade school to study at the Art Institute of Chicago, culminating in college study at Drake University School of Fine Arts.

Carolyn's work can be found at many art shows and public buildings along the Treasure Coast and in the Midwest, as well as private collections.

In addition to being a resident artist at the Fish House Art Center, Carolyn currently teaches watercolor and is a Certified Instructor for Terry Madden, a nationally renowned watercolor artist.

Carolyn is a member of the Savanna Club Fine Arts League, Martin County Council of the Arts, the American Society of Artists, the Florida Watercolor Society and Midwest Watercolor Society.
